JBL Control 67HC/T 6.5" HIGH-CEILING RBI PENDANT SPK, BLK (Pair)

JBL Control 67HC/T 6.5" High-Ceiling RBI Pendant Speaker, Black

The Control 67HC/T is a compact pendant-mount speaker engineered for high-ceiling installations where traditional placement isn't practical. Its suspension cables and compact footprint make it unobtrusive in the space, while the weather-resistant construction and robust drivers deliver consistent performance in commercial and institutional environments. This is a workhorse solution for distributed audio systems in larger venues, retail spaces, and facilities requiring discreet, reliable coverage.

Acoustic Performance & Coverage

With a 93 dB nominal sensitivity and 118 dB peak SPL at 1 meter, this speaker achieves clear, intelligible output across its 75° nominal coverage angle without requiring excessive amplifier power. The frequency range of 110 Hz–16 kHz (±3 dB) provides natural midrange clarity and treble presence suitable for speech and general programming in commercial applications.

Design & Build Quality

The pendant suspension employs two 4.5-meter galvanized-steel wire rope cables rated for 45 kg SWL, securing the speaker reliably at height while remaining visually minimal. The 165 mm polypropylene-coated paper woofer with silk-dome tweeter and 25 mm textile soft-dome high-frequency driver with ferro-fluid cooling are engineered for consistent output and extended service life in demanding installations.
