Keilwerth Toneking Silver-Plated Soprano Saxophone – c. 1962 – Serial No. 45448
A rare example in exceptionally well-preserved condition, with the silver plating remarkably intact.
Comes with its original case, original mouthpiece and original mouthpiece cap. The case is in very good condition considering its age. The ligature is not original. The saxophone is also sold with a soprano saxophone gig bag and a stand (see photos).
The original mouthpiece has some damage at the end of the shank, clearly shown in one photo.
Recently serviced. Plays perfectly, with the rich, full sound characteristic of vintage Tonekings.
An exceptionally well-preserved and complete example.
I am also selling a c. 1957 Keilwerth Toneking “Angel Wings” tenor in exceptional condition as well — please see my other listing.
