I’m selling this extremely rare instrument, produced exclusively for the US market and only for one retailer (Sweetwater).

The foundation is the fantastic Music Man Cutlass RS (Tone Factory made a great video about this guitar), an extraordinarily versatile instrument, but this particular one comes with an Eclipse Sparkle finish, which is very close to the brand’s well-known Starry Night finish, although darker.

Being a limited edition, it comes with some seriously high-end specs: stainless steel frets, ebony fingerboard, figured maple neck, and a matching headstock. Locking tuners, a Music Man tremolo specifically designed for this model, and a hard case.

Reducing this incredible instrument to a “Music Man Strat” would be doing it a disservice. The sound is probably a little rounder than a Fender, and above all, there is a remarkable consistency of tone between pickup positions, which isn’t necessarily the case with a traditional Strat.

For anyone into rock, funk, and all the styles that grew out of them, this could very well be the holy grail.

This is probably the most ergonomic instrument I’ve ever played: lightweight, with contours that bring it surprisingly close to another famously ergonomic guitar, the Ibanez JS. Resting your right arm on the body has never felt so natural, and the resulting reduction in fatigue is a real advantage on stage.

No significant damage whatsoever, apart from the usual tiny signs of use on the pickguard and one very small scratch on the back.

For an instrument like this, I would strongly prefer a face-to-face sale / hand delivery. I will sell in the EU, though
