For your consideration is a vintage 1970's Slingerland 8-Lug snare drum in chrome. This snare drum (Model No 141 - Festival) is a chrome over steel design in a 5"x14" configuration. It delivers bright attack and cutting projection at an affordable price. It was dated to between 1970-1972 based on the badge design database provided by vintage drum guide . com. Their list has the oval black & silver badge with a 1" height and 1 3/4" width set for this production period. The serial number of this drum is 318848.The drum arrived to us with a broken batter and snare side head as well as a disconnected snare throw off. We have invested in new Evan's heads as well as new snare wire. It has been tested and plays nicely! All other hardware appears to be original including the muffler and throw off. There are cosmetic wear points present throughout the drum in the form of scratches, plating wear, rusting of hardware, and discoloration. These areas are seen in the photos but do not affect the functionality of the drum.This would be a great way to get a classic 70's snare for a great low price!Thank you for your consideration!Please examine all the pictures and read the entire description carefully before buying.
