About this listing
Schecter DJ Ashba Signature Electric Guitar Satin White
This DJ Ashba Signature model delivers a fast, comfortable neck paired with a perfectly balanced solid body that translates playing dynamics directly into your recordings. The thin C-shaped maple neck and ebony fretboard enable precise articulation and aggressive attack—critical for capturing everything from rhythmic foundation to lead definition, while the satin white finish provides striking visual character in studio and live settings. Built for hard rock, metal, and modern alternative styles, this guitar excels at laying down smooth rhythms or unleashing blistering lead lines with consistent tonal response across your session work.
Playability & Recording Response
The thin C neck profile measures .787" at the first fret and .866" at the 12th fret, paired with a 14" radius ebony fretboard and 22 extra-jumbo frets for fluid, comfortable hand positioning that minimizes fatigue during extended recording takes. A 25.5" scale length and 1.62" nut width establish a familiar, balanced feel that allows both precision technique and aggressive playing approaches to translate cleanly to tape.
Tone Shaping & Session Versatility
The EMG 81 bridge pickup combines with a Sustainiac neck pickup to deliver articulate highs and punchy lows with extended harmonic control, while 3-way Sustainiac Mode switching (Fundamental-Mix-Harmonic) lets you shape sustain and feedback character in real time—enabling quick tonal adjustments across multiple takes without re-mic'ing. A Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge and matching nut provide reliable tuning stability and precision intonation essential for maintaining consistency across your session layers.
