PRS SE Silver Sky Defender Limited Edition
Four Contemporary Colors. Available for a Limited Time.“Teaming up with Defender to offer the Silver Sky guitar in their legendaryDefender colors is a dream come true. I’ve always chosen colorways based onobjects and materials that inspire me in the world, and as a collector and loverof Defenders, this collaboration is the perfect crossover between two greatpassions of mine. “ - John Mayer
The SE Silver Sky Defender Limited Edition retains the feel, response, andplayability that define the Silver Sky model, while introducing a bold newvisual character.
The Silver Sky has never been shy about color. For the Defender ColorCollection, Mayer and PRS looked beyond the guitar world to thecontemporary Defender palette, drawing from decades of history andmore than 900 colors to select four finishes that give the SE Silver Sky afresh, modern character: Petra Copper, Sedona Red, Carpathian Grey, andWoolstone Green. Each is paired with a black pickguard – a first for the SilverSky model – creating a striking new take on a guitar built to be played. Acustom neck plate unique to the run and custom gig bag complete thepackage.
United by their ability to occupy the space between a tool and object ofinspiration, the SE Silver Sky and the Defender feel both classic and contemporarywhile staying true to their purpose and utility. At its core, the SESilver Sky Defender remains a player’s guitar with the sound, feel, andresponse that musicians expect, backed by the build quality and playabilityto handle night after night on stage. The Defender Color Collectionhighlights that spirit: functional, distinctive, and made to inspire.Inspiration can come from anywhere. For this limited-edition SE Silver Sky,the inspiration comes from beyond the guitar world. It comes from theDefender of today.
