About this listing
Bill Nash built his reputation on one simple idea: a guitar that looks and feels like it has been on the road since 1963, but plays like it left the bench yesterday. This 2018 S-63 delivers exactly that. The alder body wears a Sonic Blue nitrocellulose lacquer, aged the way only Nash does it, with honest checking and wear that no factory relic program quite matches. The one piece maple neck carries a slab rosewood board with a medium C profile that fills the hand the way early sixties necks do, and the 10" radius with 6105 frets means you get the vintage feel without fighting the guitar. Hand wound Lollar pickups do the talking: bell like clarity, that unmistakable Stratocaster quack in positions two and four, and a bridge pickup with real bite. Nitro throughout, CTS pots, a CRL switch, a Switchcraft jack and Sprague Orange Drop caps, because Nash does not cut corners where it counts. Sonic Blue on an aged Strat is one of the great combinations in guitar history, and this one is a player, not a shelf queen.Interested in this Nash S-63?
