The D-18 is one of the most iconic and enduring acoustic guitars ever made, and the 2023 Standard Series version is firing on all cylinders — solid Sitka spruce top with scalloped forward-shifted X-bracing over solid mahogany back and sides, delivering that classic mahogany punch, dry midrange authority, and crystal clear note separation that the D-18 has been famous for since the 1930s. The mahogany neck with Modified Low Oval profile and High Performance taper sits on a 25.4" scale length with an ebony fingerboard and ebony bridge, 1¾" bone nut, and vintage-style open-gear tuners — effortless to play from the first fret to the last. Frets are perfect with zero wear and there is nothing on the body that stands out — this one is truly as clean as they come.
