The Martin DSS-17 Whiskey Sunset is now in stock as a used item The top is made of spruce, and the sides and back are made of mahogany. The neck is made of selected hardwood, and the fingerboard is rosewood. Satin finish. The body top features the "Whiskey Sunset" color?a retro look that made the 17 Series popular?and this new Dreadnought version has just been released. One of its defining features is its rounded shape, reminiscent of models with a 12th-fret joint known as "sloped shoulders." With features like aged round ivoroid-button open-gear tuning machines, this model exudes the charm of the good old days of America. The frets are well-preserved, and the guitar is in excellent condition for a used instrument. The string height at the 12th fret on the 6th string is approximately 2.7 mm.
