About this listing
This 2008 Ibanez SR405QM is a fantastic example of why the Soundgear series remains a industry standard for 5-string playability. Featuring a stunning quilted maple top over a basswood body, this bass offers a lightweight, ergonomic design that is easy on your shoulder during long sets.As a 2008 model, it benefits from the 5-piece maple/rosewood neck construction, which provides superior stability compared to earlier 3-piece versions. The slim neck profile and 16.5mm string spacing make it one of the fastest-playing 5-strings on the market, perfect for guitarists transitioning to bass or players with smaller hands.Specs & Features:Model: SR405QM (Transparent Red Burst)Build Year: 2008 (Indonesia, Cort Factory)Neck: 5-piece Maple/Rosewood SR5 neck (Bolt-on)Body: Basswood with Quilted Maple topPickups: Original Ibanez EXF-5 passive humbuckersElectronics: Active Style Sweeper 3-band EQ for versatile tone shapingHardware: Accu-cast B25 bridge and Cosmo Black die-cast tunersFrets: 24 Medium frets on a Rosewood fingerboard
