Here we have a very cool pre owned Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Electric Guitar. 30th Anniversary- Made in the USA in 2001. Wine Red finish over a nice Flame Maple Top. This guitar has had some modifications done to it. Classic Les Paul construction with a solid Mahogany body and neck. 22- Fret Rosewood fingerboard with Trapezoid inlays. Top bound body and neck. Gibson Deluxe Kluson Tuning machines and chrome hardware. This guitar original came with mini humbuckers. It now sports a set of P-90 pickups. We are uncertain of the maker of the pickups but they do look handmade and they sound great. This guitar also had a Bigsby installed at one point. The Bigsby has been removed. There are some tell tale marks from the tremolo. The bottom of the guitar had a few holes from the tremolo. We had our painter, fill and touch up the area. He did an amazing job. (please see all photos) The plugged mounting hole between the bridge and tailpiece can still be seen. This Les Paul also sports a new Gibson Historic pickguard. The electronics are a mix of what looks like started as an RS Guitar Works harness with Hovland caps. One pot has been changed to a DImarzio. The pickups are harness sound great and are working perfectly. This Les Paul weighs 10lbs 5oz. Not a lightweight but not crazy either. It comes with its original brown Gibson hardshell case with shroud. The case is in good shape with all latches and hinges working as they should. This Les Paul has just been pro setup by our technician and is playing like a damn good Les Paul should. Strung with 10-46's. The neck is straight and the truss rod is working smoothly with good travel in both directions. The frets are in great shape with minimal wear on them. They have the majority of their life left in them. This guitar plays cleanly up and down the fingerboard. Cosmetically, this guitar is in very good condition. There are surface marks, indents, scuffs, and worming through the guitar, The notable plugged screw hole in between the bridge and tailpiece from the previously installed Bigsby, Some marks and scuffs around the control knobs. Small indents and small chips around the guitars edges. The back of the neck has a couple of indents but they are small and don't hang you up while playing. Some belt buckle worming in the middle but nothing through the finish. This guitar has been played and well taken care of. Please see all photos.
