A classic interface. Solid and reliable. 2 channels, each with combined XLR and jack inputs, line switches, direct monitor switch headphone jack input with separate volume knob, main monitoring knob (which always feels satisfying to use), L&R jack outputs on the back for connecting monitors (I use pair of Adam Audio A5X's, and they've paired with this beautifully), and a 48V phantom power switch on the front. Comes with USB power cable. A brilliant starter interface as part of a home setup, or something you can throw into a backpack and take with you. Something I've done quite often. As a starter, it's a great to unit to learn how such things work, as everything is very easily laid out, and the signal path is very intuitive. A simple alternative to a mixing desk, if you don't fancy the space and time it takes to get familiar with that type of unit. Really good for guitar and bass players as well, since you can just plug straight into the front & select the instrument channel in your DAW. It having 2 channels means being able to record guitars and vocals at the same time, if you so wish.It also holds its own as a serious recording tool. I've recorded countless projects with it including my band Civil war Ghost's self titled EP. I've used both channels to rig up multiple mics for guitar cabinets, stereo mic'd acoustic guitars, recorded vocals, rigged up mics in different rooms to capture bathroom and hallway acoustics, ran pedalboard feedback sounds and much more. It's a simple box but you can certainly do just as much as you could with a standard 12 channel desk. You just have to be willing to take a moment between takes to change your mic setup. And that's a pretty negligible issue anyway. You might even be faster than me at rigging mics!Works a treat, only a few scratches.I've used these since my college days in 2016, and they've yet to completely fail me. As much I do like it, and has served me well these past few years, I'm now selling to upgrade it to something sophisticated that'll give me more signal path options and more elaborate setups. I'm gonna miss it a bit, but I hope it goes to a good home where it can be a part of someone else's creative journey.Might be willing to throw in some cables for free too, to sweeten the deal.
