The Fender Custom Shop's Limited Edition 70th Anniversary 1954 Stratocaster celebrates 70 years of timeless design and sound of Fender Stratocaster electric guitars. The Limited Edition 70th Anniversary 1954 Strat - Time Capsule electric guitar embodies the sound and musical legacy of the early Strat models from the first half of the 1950s. The body of the guitar is made of two pieces of ash. A very thin layer of varnish (Time Capsule finish) without artificial patina in the form of relic/aged treatments allows the wood to "breathe" and resonate well. In addition, the ultra-thin Wide-Fade 2-Color Sunburst finish will change relatively quickly under your hands and give the instrument an authentic vintage look and feel.The one-piece maple neck (quartersawn cut) features a special 70th anniversary Soft “V” profile based on the July 1954 Strat neck specifications. The fingerboard is divided by twenty-one Medium Jumbo frets and black micarta dots. Three hand-wound single-coil pickups from the Custom Shop provide the guitar with a classic Strat sound and feel. You can adjust the sound character with standard controls. The strings are mounted on vintage-style tuners and a synchronized tremolo. The stylish finish is underlined by a white single-ply pickguard, white 1954-style pickup and potentiometer covers, and a 70th Anniversary Stratocaster neck plate. The guitar comes in a case along with a certificate of authenticity, guitar strap, instrument cable, and other accessories.
