Northwest Vintage Guitars presents a super clean 70's Epiphone EA250 Casino Style Hollow Body in Red Burst. These feature some early Matsumolku Single coils with Staple Poles and a unique slug design that allows for a clear and breathy high end and a warm bottom with plenty of jangle. The original tremolo is all these and works like it should to add a little shimmer. They read 4.72k ohms at the neck and 4.61k at the bridge. The 2V, 2T, and the toggle are laid out different than a Gibson with 2V on top, 2T on bottom, and the toggle the opposite. They had to be different. It's a Maple Laminate body, a straight 5 piece Maple neck, and a bound dark Rosewood fretboard. Comes safely packed and fully insured in the groovy plush yellow lined hard case.
The nut measures 1.58", neck depth is .82"-.82" at the 1st and 12th frets respectively. It's a slim D profile with a nice managable shoulder. Freshly strung and accurately intonated with D'Addario 10-46 nickel strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod turns in both directions, and the relief is currently set for optimum playability. Plenty of life left in the frets, the fretboard has been cleaned and conditioned. There are a few scratches and dings as pictured. It remains in excellent playable condition with no dead spots. There is some light limited buzzing when played hard on the spec action. The strap buttons, the bridge, the shim under the nut, and the added bridge ground are not original.
