Overview
The Coral badge was a short-lived wholesale marketing strategy used by Danelectro to sell directly to individual dealers. Coral guitars were built in Neptune, New Jersey by Danelectro Corporation and distributed by MCA.
The Firefly was Coral's attempt to compete with the Gibson ES-335. The models with a vibrato tailpiece are worth slightly more, as are the twelve-string specimens.
Years of Production: 1967 - 1969
