About this listing
The Charvel Model 375 Deluxe was part of Charvel’s late 1980s Classic Series, introduced after the earlier Model Series guitars and made in Japan during the Jackson/Charvel import period. It kept the hot-rodded Superstrat format that Charvel was known for, but updated it with a smaller Dinky-style body, sculpted neck joint, HSS pickup layout and a recessed Jackson JT-590 double-locking tremolo. The result was a very typical late 80s Charvel: practical, fast, well-made and clearly aimed at players who wanted Floyd Rose stability, upper-fret access and a broad pickup setup in one guitar. This example has a rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, black hardware and Metallic Black finish. The guitar is in fantastic condition for its age, with only minor playwear on the front and minor standard dings on the back. Frets are around 95%. Weight is 3600g. The rear control cavity cover has a crack, but the guitar is otherwise very clean. Includes case.SPECIFICATIONSBrand: CharvelModel: Model 375 DeluxeYear: 1989Series: Classic SeriesCountry of manufacture: JapanBody style: Dinky-style double cutawayBody material: BasswoodFinish: Metallic Black glossNeck: Maple, bolt-onNeck joint: Sculpted heel jointNeck finish: Natural glossFingerboard: RosewoodFingerboard radius: 12" to 16" compound radiusScale length: 648mmFrets: 22 jumboInlays: Pearl dotNut width: 43mmNut type: Locking nutHeadstock: Angled hockey-stick style, black faceTuners: Jackson sealed tuners, blackPickup configuration: HSSControls: Master volume, master tone, 5-way blade switchBridge: Recessed Jackson JT-590 licensed Floyd Rose tremoloHardware: BlackPickguard: None
