Whenever we post one of our Potent Pairings videos on our YouTube channel, we invariably see tons of comments making requests as to what band we should cover next. Ever since we posted our first treatment of the tones of The Beatles late last year, we've seen more calls for a part two than anything else.
Well, Beatlemaniacs, the wait is over.
In the above video, we're diving back into The Beatles' discography and attempting to replicate tones from classic tracks like "She Said, She Said," "Something," and "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." The Beatles, of course, didn't use pedalboards, and just as in part one, the guitar sounds we're examining often came down to a particular combination of amps, consoles, and other studio tricks from the '60s.
