The volume is great, lots of boost if you want. Gain control is functions awesomely adding in some sweet grit as you turn the dial. The tone control gives a very functional sweep across a usable range. No matter how you have it dialed, its fat and thick. It perfectly left on to thicken a strat or tele single coil, or add some gain, and it adds fantastic grit.

These pedals are just magical, they add some herbs and spices to your blossom up your clean tone or goose your tubes to fatten things up. They work great on guitar as an always on or as a boost to get more thickness and juiciness for when you want to cut through. It also does a fantastic job on bass coaxing those lines to come right through your bass rig.
