This is a handcrafted flamenco guitar, made in the traditional Spanish way by Juan Montes Rodríguez "Constructores de guitarras", Spain. It’s not a factory-made, mass-produced instrument. Natural imperfections in the wood grain and finish are normal and part of its unique character — like human skin. If you’re looking for a flawless, factory-style product, this might not be the right guitar for you.

Flamenco guitars have their own personality. They’re neither classical nor acoustic guitars and offer a distinct feel, tone, and setup.

• String action at the 12th fret is approximately 3mm (6th string) and 2.5–2.8 mm (1st string) to preserve authentic flamenco tone.
• With a cejilla (capo) at the 2nd fret, action lowers to about 2.4–2.8mm.
• A certain amount of fret buzz, especially on the bass strings, is natural and contributes to the traditional flamenco character.

Flamenco blanca 1ª guitar crafted with beautiful Cypress back and sides and German Spruce top.

This instrument belongs to the new “1ª Series” by Juan Montes Rodríguez and features a 40-year-aged spruce top with remarkably straight, uniform and intense grain .The first-class Spanish Cypress set shows beautiful natural colour variations, especially on the sides, with the characteristic straight grain found in the finest selections.. highly sought-after quality among professional players and collectors.

The result is a guitar with a warm, fast and crisp response, offering excellent projection, muy flamenca!! She has a great sound and flamenco character !!

🧽 Guitar Care Tips:

• For true flamenco tone, play between the rosette and bridge — not directly over the soundhole.
• Never fully detune your guitar. Loosen strings 1 and 4 slightly when storing.
• In extreme climates, use a humidifier or silica packs inside the case.
• Clean the top, neck, and fingerboard with a few drops of water and a microfiber cloth.
• Occasionally hydrate the fingerboard with olive oil, lemon oil, or water. Avoid alcohol-based products.
• Always change strings one at a time.
