Instrument weight: 799 grams (actual measurement). Manufactured in the 1990s. Accessories: Original hard case (no key)

Aside from a few small dents and light polishing marks, it is in beautiful condition with no dents, noticeable scratches, plating damage, or repair history. The tubing has been cleaned, the felt and water key rubber have all been replaced, and all tubing has been serviced.

The Yamaha Custom Series short-type piccolo trumpet, YTR-9810S. Inheriting the lineage of Yamaha short piccolos that began with the original Custom YTR-915, this is a discontinued model that was manufactured from 1981 to 1998. Short-type piccolo trumpets have a lineage that goes back to the Selmer André model of yesteryear, and rather than sharply cutting through in orchestras or large ensembles, they are a style that excels in lightness, phrasing, and subtle expression in solos and chamber music.
