In 1987, Mike Soldano created the now-legendary 100-watt Super Lead Overdrive tube amp head. The SLO set the standard for modern high-gain amplification, and nearly four decades later, it's still one of the most coveted amplifiers in history.

The SLO's drive channel has found support from renowned rock guitarists like Mick Mars (Motley Crue), Warren de Martini (Ratt), and Howard Leese (Heart), while the blues crunch channel has made the SLO the first choice for non-metal aficionados like Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Warren Haynes, Gary Moore, and Lou Reed, to name a few.

Engineered using the same cascading gain stages as the flagship amplifier, the SLO pedal is the perfect way to get that signature Soldano tone on your pedalboard. The SLO pedal's front panel features the same controls for gain, volume, presence, and a 3-band EQ as the 100-watt tube amplifier. The side-mounted Deep switch nails the low-end punch of the amp's knob. These controls take you from harmonically rich crunch to some of the most famous high-gain tones in history.

Volume: Controls the overall output volume

Presence: Filters the high end of the output

Gain: Adjusts the total amount of gain applied; turning this control clockwise increases the amount

EQ Section: Classic Soldano three-band EQ; turning each band clockwise will increase the output of its frequency ranges

Deep: Adjusts the overall low-end punch of the output
