Custom Elfin bass from New York Luthier Martin Keith. This is a fantastic bass in excellent condition. The only flaws are some small dings in the headstock (see photos.) Differing from the standard Elfin in that it features a belly contour. This was a first for the Elfin series and may be the very first ever with the contour. The versatile dual aguilar pickups can be used to find the perfect tone for any style of music. The Gotoh Res-O-Lite tuners keep the bass locked in tune, no matter how aggressive your playing style. The two octave maple neck is straight as an arrow and will accommodate a low action if that's your thing. Let's talk about the finish/aesthetics - this bass is stunning! The deep red finish with woodgrain cannot be adequately represented in photos, but it is deep and beautiful. The dark fretboard, and black hardware are perfect complements to the deep red finish. This is also a very light bass weighing in at only 8.77 lbs and perfectly balanced whether sitting or on a strap. I am the sole owner of this bass from new, so you're getting a meticulously cared for instrument. A hand made bass, from an incredibly talented luthier for less money than most overseas assembly line basses. Make this fantastic bass yours!
