14x5.5" Tama Superstar Snare

Okay.  I'm not going to lie; as one of the most inexpensive snares I own, I didn't expect much from this drum.  WOW, what a surprise...  This is actually my favorite drum I currently own.  It's insanely sensitive but has one of the biggest midranges I've heard come out of a snare.  I'd only played it high the entire time I've had it but have been tuning it lower the past few weeks and it sounds awesome.  The ONLY reason I'm getting rid of this is, I also have the 40th Anniversary Reissue Superstar snare and don't need both.  Since the other is more of a collector's item, I decided to hold onto it - this "cheaper" version of the Superstar sound WAY better - I'd be glad to provide the buyer with samples of both at the same tunings from 170Hz all the way up to 230Hz.  These really don't get the attention they deserve!

Drum is in excellent condition with Puresound wires installed.  The inside was waxed to increase the focus of the drum's sound, plus add a nice aesthetic.
