Gretsch 20/12/14/5.5x14" Progressive Jazz 60's Round Badge Drum Set - Aqua Satin Flame

Here is a 60's Gretsch Round Badge Progressive Jazz outfit; 14x20", 8x12", 14x14", and 5.5x14" finished in their original aqua satin flame wrap! Satin flame finishes are notorious for scratching and “spider-webbing”, and this set exhibits some of that throughout its finish - most notably under the rims and stemming from lug/rail con fastening holes. No splits or lifting; just one extra hole that has been nicely patched on the floor tom, pictured. More details below:

14x20" - Serial #75768. New vintage style spur brackets, but original spurs. Tone control is present and functional. Heads are a coated Gretsch Permatone batter and a modern smooth white Gretsch logo resonant side.

5.5x14" - Serial #82308. Original Microsensitive throw is nicely functional. Internal tone control present and functional. This drum has a Yamaha batter head in its photos, but we've gone ahead and put a fresh coated ambassador on there since. Snug fit, but modern heads seat on these drums.

8x12" - Serial #116549. Batter side tone control present and functional, resonant side missing. We can install a new one for $35ea. The diamond spade bracket is a little loose but still holds the drum above the rail - we'll throw in one of our repro's just in case it gives any more. Let us know if you'd like it installed at checkout! Coated ambassador batter side, clear ambassador resonant.

14x14" - Serial #92123. Same as the 8x12"; batter side tone control present and functional, missing the resonant side. Coated ambassador batter side, clear ambassador resonant.
