Here for sale we have a Gretsch Electromatic Pristine LTD Jet in Mako finish. Made in China in 2023, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Chambered Mahogany body with a Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Laurel fingerboard. Other appointments include a Bigsby B50 tailpiece, Tune-O-Matic bridge and a set of sealed tuning machines. The pickups installed are a pair of FT-5E Filter’Tron pickups, these are wired to a 3-way selector, master volume, master tone, neck volume and a bridge volume.
The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Thin ‘U’ profile filling the hand without being overly thick, this offers a balanced and smooth playing experience. The Medium Jumbo frets and 12" radius provide a robust and smooth playing experience all across the fingerboard, and enhance string bending and vibrato techniques. The single cutaway body design allows the player to access the higher register with ease, allowing for fast lead lines without any obstruction.
The FT-5E Filter’Tron Pickups pickups produce a variety of tones, sounding excellent on clean and slightly overdriven settings, highly suitable for jazz, blues, country or even rock genres. The neck pickup delivers a deep, warm tone that offers clear and rounded notes. The bridge pickup gives the player a more jangly and trebly tone that provides a punchy high-mid range, however the blending of the pickups gives the best of both worlds in the middle position.
