Kubicki Blaster (like Ex-Factor) - Red

Is it a Kubicki Ex-Factor? Not really, but in everything but name this is everything you'd expect from Kubicki's legendary bass design. This is a model that came out of a failed licensing agreement that Kubicki was arranging to make basses in Japan -- you see the license mentioned in print on the body, and all the hardware and construction is the same, apart from that there is no printed text on the bridge plate.

This one in particular is in fantastic shape. I've gone over and cleaned all the metal parts, everything under the bridge, and got it looking as refreshed as possible. The paintwork is in great condition - there are some small chips along the bottom of the guitar (around the tuner knobs) and some buckle rash, but you almost never see these looking anywhere near as nice. This one even comes with the official gigbag! Fretboard is cleaned and frets are polished. There are basically three issues worth mentioning and that is that the nut extension latch is really stiff at the moment (works fine, but takes a lot of effort, maybe needs some oil) and there is some string buzz with the current setup. The truss rod is working fine and the neck is straight, so functionally I think everything is fine but will likely need a quick setup to match your destination humidity. Also the cavity cover is missing. You can order a replacement direct from Kubicki (easy if in the US)
