Johansson F5 mandolin with Satin 1704 Spirit varnish finish. Single bound front and back. 1 1/16ths” nut width on a traditional profile shellac speed neck with a compound radius fingerboard and narrow/low frets. Truss rod reinforced and dovetailed. Ivoroid fret dot markers and headstock inlays. Traditional 3-ply cherry crossbanded faceplate. Asymmetrical A braced Adironsack spruce top plate with bound f holes. Hardened denim pickguard and matching armrest with inlay. Hammer and chisel engraved felt lined, hinged tailpiece. Mahogany interior blocking and kerfing. Gotoh machine tuners with Amber knobs. Adjustable bridge currently set at a height of 13/16ths” with a standard setup of 5/64ths” spacing from the top of the 12th fret to the bottom of the string on the bass side and 1/16ths” on the treble side. Shipped with a hardshell case!
