Amazing Ibanez 7 string hardtail in a very cool natural satin poplar finish. It has the bookmatched "knots" and some flame in the grain. Beautiful rosewood fretboard as well. I have never seen one quite like this. The photos really don't do it Justice.
I believe it is the 7 string brother to the S721. This particular specimen looks to have been hardly used at all. Absolutely minimal fretwear. This was babied. Weighs a paltry 5 lb 11 oz.
Here's what Ibanez said about it back when it was released.
"The cutting edge of Ibanez design, the S series continues to be a marvel of form and function. Its signature body shape - sculpted, lightweight, and mahogany - is stronger and more musically responsive than guitars weighing twice as much. The S series is still a rock 'n' roll version of a quick, graceful, and potentially lethal weapon."
