The L-1 Tube VCA 2П2П takes its name from the tube it uses, which excels at low-frequency amplification. This type of amplification is primarily used to amplify audio, rather than the radio frequency amplification perpetrated by its predecessor. Compared to the initial Tube VCA, which makes use of a 1Ж24Б tube (which promotes high-frequency amplification), the 2П2П sounds much cleaner and is ideal for bass processing. It also features a completely redesigned circuit, a wider range, and less clicking.
