Magus Ultimate Attenuator 1st gen, upgraded, serviced, guitar amp

1st generation ultimate attenuator. this was w/out a doubt the best one on the market when it came out. this is definitely the real deal, and it's definitely a real attenuator, and works extremely well. i used to know the people at THD, this is better than the THD. hell, i'd say it's better than the Universal Audio OX, which is a total tone sucker. even at full blast, if you're plugged into the OX, you're killing your volume and tone... that device is horrible. this is a truly great device and it's proven itself over time.

pretty sure he was the first guy to have a truly smooth usable volume knob, where you could select any volume. i met him at namm 2005 and bought shortly thereafter so this is most certainly gen 1. has plexi/bedroom switch. i bought this for one i lived in a studio and had a 100W JCM800.

don't buy a mystery, buy an inspected / serviced unit!

very few hours, was used for a couple practices and one huge gig. like new but better because of a few minor upgrades. no issues. very little use and cosmetically clean. last year i bought it to my electrical engineer, he upgraded a few of the switches and parts. it's been serviced, tested and safety checked. i remember him saying there was a flaw of some kind with something minor (safety related) and he sorted it out. probably a switch or jack. (this is an amp builder and engineer of the highest order). great care should always be taken with all tube amps and assorted components. always match ohms, always plug things in where they belong! there's nothing worse than a master volume knob, i refuse to own any amp with a master volume, use this instead. will ship fast, safe & secure.
