1974 Fender Rhodes 73-Key Mark 1 electric piano! This “Rhode warrior” has been loved its whole life. This one came from a studio that was regularly using the piece so it was always well maintained and up-kept. Mechanically everything is working perfectly, the piece plays very well and is free of any issues whatsoever! At some point it also received a new RetroFlyer Active Pre-amp from Avion Studios! The RetroFlyer is an active preamp with volume, mid boost/cut and fully adjustable tremolo designed to fit perfectly into the passive Mark I. Also comes with a power supply. As far as usability and functionality, I’d give it a 9/10. It damn near plays perfectly and really I couldn’t tell ya what could be better to make it a 10. As far as cosmetically it’s not perfect, definitely a well loved piece. May not be the one for a collector but if you’re a playing/gigging musician this is the one! Everything is there, all original legs, hard top case attachment for the carrying and original sustain pedal as well. The bar for the sustain pedal is not original but works as it should.
