For sale is a high quality handmade 4/4 violin with case & bow. This is a Hermann Beyer E201 4/4 violin outfit with original moulded hard case and Glasser fiberglass composite bow. The violin was hand made in Hungary in year 2000. It has an ebony fingerboard, chinrest, tailpiece, and tuners.
This was shop adjusted to perfection in Indiana, USA before being made available to exclusive dealers around the country. It plays as effortless as possible. The violin bridge is a Bausch which is the original to this model & was perfectly cut, arched and fitted to have the lowest possible string height to the fretboard. You will love playing this violin!
It looks new even though it is 25 years old. No cracks, no open seams, no repairs. It is perfect and ready to play. It is also very clean and was properly stored and maintained.
This would make an excellent violin for the intermediate or advanced student who would appreciate the ease of tuning and the ease of fingering on the fretboard.
Although the violin would be suited to the advanced student the bow on the otherhand, which is original to this violin outfit, is a beginners bow. It is a Glasser fiberglass composite bow. It is not as responsive as a professional pernambuco wood bow. That is actually an advantage for beginners but if you are an intermediate or advanced player you will need a better more responsive bow…I have a new better quality more responsive brazilwood bow I can include instead of the Glasser bow. Just ask.
