We are selling this incredibly rare Siel MDP-40 PCM-based Drum Machine made in Italy in 1986!
SERIAL NUMBER: 1521
CONDITION: The unit is fully working. Cosmetically there are some traces of use, light scratches and spots on the plastic surface but nothing that compromises its perfect functioning! We add in the sale a compatible power supply and a PDF copy of the Owner’s Manual. This drum machine should be also battery powered but this unit works perfectly only with the power supply (we don't know why with batteries it doesn't work). Real vintage gem: grab a bargain!
DESCRIPTION: The Siel MDP-40 drum machine is pretty amazing! Rhythms include 40 pre-programmed styles: disco, funky, rock, 8-beat, ballad, beguine, bossa, jazz, polka, tango, new-wave, reggae, pop, 16-beat, super rock, cha-cha, samba, shuffle, march and waltz.
10 instrument sounds on the pads: bass drum, bass/tom drum, snare drum, snare, closed charleston, open charleston, cymbal, cabasa, cowbell, hand.
MIDI capable (MIDI in/thru/out) with lots of fun italo disco sounds.
Would later be rebranded as the Suzuki RPM-40 and Keytek MDR-40.
Instruments can be played manually with pads. Swing beat. Added claps. Has ability to do fills to chorus pattern and to verse pattern.
