NOTE: the surface cloudiness on the black bobbin is from the thin 1/2 clear - 1/2 graphic plastic protective covering that was on this pickup before I took it off to take the picutres (you see it in pictures # 1 and # 5. I didn't want clean the top side of the pickup too much - wanted to avoid scratchng the top side. After I took the pictures - I put the thin plastic protective covering back on.

This model pickup is part of Epiphone's Pro Series Line of Humbuckers (which is called ProBUCKER).

Epiphone Alnico Classic Pro Pickups use Alnico V magnets and are evenly wound. They are similar (NOT EXACTLY the SAME) to the Gibson ’57 Classic humbuckers (NOT part of this listing), but are a little brighter due to the Alnico V magnet. 

• NOTE: the top side of the pickup has a thin plastic protective covering that is clear with a graphic covering 1/2 of this plastic covering. Part of the graphic on the covering says "ProBUCKER by EPIPHONE VINTAGE HUMBUCKING PICKUPS."
• Basically this means that the Epiphone Alno Classic Pro model pickup is part of Epiphone's PRO SERIES Line of Humbucker.
• The SERIES is called ProBUCKER.
• This model pickup is caled: Alnico Classic Pro. Model # ACPNHZCB-4

The under-side of this pickup has three lablels (two are not that important) and the one in the center has the model # of this pickup: ACPNHZCB-4.

The pickup that I have for sale has an Epiphone Alnico Classic Pro. The under-side of the pickup has a label that says ACPNHZCB-4.

ACPNHZCB-4 is the model number (it is NOT a serial number).

• ACP = Alnico Classic Pro
• Z means Zebra
• B means Bridge position
• 4 since this is a 4 conductor pickup - I think it means 4 conductor (I might be right / I migt be wrong)
• I don't know what the other letters mean

NOTE: There is some confusion about some model Epiphone pickups (in general) and there is confusion as to what model Gibson pickup they are similar to (or that they are trying to replicate or almost replicate with Epiphone standards). Here I'm mostly focusing of the Epiphone's line of "Pro" pickups.

Some of the informaton in the link below explains what magnets are used in certain Epi "Pro" pickups and in certain Gibson pickups. And it explains what these Epiphone pickups are most similar to in the Gibon line of pickups, etc...

• So the information in the above link - states and comes to the conclusion that that the Epiphone Alnico Classic Pro's are not "equivalent" to their big brother Gibson '57 Classic (NOT part of this isting) as far as magnet type used - but could be using Gibson "specs" for the rest of the pickup.
• It also states: The Epiphone Alnico Classic Pro humbuckers use Alnico V magnets and are evenly wound. They are similar to the Gibson ’57 Classic humbuckers, but are a little brighter due to the Alnico V magnet. I was planning to list this pickup sooner - became busy - now I finally hve a chance to list it. This Alnico Classic Pro BRIDGE pickup came off of a new Epi LP (forgot which model). No longer have the guitar. I plan to listing the matching NECK pickup this weekend. If it isn't listed and you would like information, pictures, price, etc -- just message me and I'll respond ASAP.

TOP SIDE.

• Most areas are very clean.
• The right area of the CREME Bobbin has a very short dash not too light / not to deep scratch located to the upper right area of the B pole screw) - SEE picture close-up picture # 7
• The right area of the BLACK Bobbin has a short very light dIagonal hair-line scratch located upper right area of B pole piece, the right area has a few very smal / tiny cludy surface spots, and the mid right bottom edge ares has minor uneveness - kind of looks lke that' how the bobbin ws made. And it has a few other extremelyl igth hair-line scratches which show up more in the picutres than they appear in person. SEE close-uop pictures # 8.
• In most of the pictures - you don't see the imperfecitons that just mentioned. Even in person they do not really stand out unless you look at the pup up close.

BOTTOM SIDE.

• Mostly very clean. It has a thin layer of surface wax. This surface wax has some tiny surface nicks and a few very light very short dash scratches.

WIRE(s):

• It's fine. It originally HAD a 5 hole Quick Connect end. That end was CUT off (I cut it off rigth before i created this listing).

In case you want to / need to pull the main gray insulation & shieldong down more - I left the loose part still on. If the length of the thin individual wires are fine - you can just snip off this loose gray piece + shileding.

• LEAD WIRE - Full Length -- to end of bare ends of thignindividual wires: about 8 and 1/8 inches
• Length of main lead to the ends of the colored areas of thin individual wires : about 7 and 3/4 inches
• Length of the Gray part of the main Lead Wire (gray part before the thin colored wires) 6 and 1/2 inches

I can include a wiring diagram.

The screws & springs are fine. (they are new)

Works fine - full strength.

8.1k is the multi-meter reading that I got on November 29, 2024. Room temp was about 68 °F. Remember that room temperature affects the multi-meter reading - so this reading fluctuates a little bit.

Do the following to get the multimeter reading:

• tie (twist) green and white wires of the pickup together (but you do not need them to touch the multimeter. These wires are already twisted together (if necessary - you can untwist them)
• tie (twist) black and bare wires - these are the GROUND wires [multi-meter black to black & bare (ground) wires of the pickup]. These wires are already twisted together (if necessary - you can untwist them)
• red is by itself - this is the HOT wire [multi-meter red to red (hot) wire of the pickup]
• select 20k ohms (or 200k ohms to get a less detailed reading).
• As I stated above - I'll leave the wires twited together.

I took several pictures of the pickup and thee are a few pictures that show the screws & springs.

NOTE:  There may be a afew minor imperfections that I overlooked. There are a few imperfections that can be see in person that are not visible in the pictures (or that look a little different in person than they do in the pictures).  And - there are a few glares that show up in the pictures that aren't visible in person .
