Up for sale a Tech 21 NYC SansAmp US Metal Character Series Distortion Preamp Effect Pedal - #712615!  We are an Authorized Dealer of Tech 21 NYC!  This effect pedal is a Used Model in Excellent Cosmetic Condition and in Perfect Working Condition.  On this one, there are some scratches, marks, barely few tiny nicks and few other signs of wear here and there (see 7th to 14th pictures), but really nothing major.  Unit does not come with any power supply.

TECH 21 SANSAMP US METAL - CHARACTER SERIES

The Character Series pedals take their mojo from the most respected amp tones on both sides of the Atlantic. These pedals don’t just have a single character, they have the whole cast, plot and curtain call.

The Level and Drive controls work like a traditional, well-equipped amp. Low, Mid and High, however, are active, providing a wider array of tonal possibilities. Then there’s the Character knob, which is something quite unique. This continuously-variable control moves seamlessly between different model voicings, covering vintage, high-gain and face-melting lead tones. The Character and Mid controls, and the speaker emulations, are all engineered to personify the specific amplifier traits and speakers associated with each amplifier type. Put simply, we’ve crammed the entire lineage of each amp style into a funky little box.

Packing more metal than Pittsburgh, the U.S. Metal is high gain Valhalla. Blistering distortions and searing lead tones just keep coming; every nu-metal chunk, every modern rock slab. Back off for smoky blues or ignite the rage of an uber-gain rectifier. Emulating the massive Celestion-powered chunk of a closed-back cab, the musclebound U.S. Metal is here to raise hell and steal your girl.

MID, LOW, HIGH:

- Shifting MID is custom tuned to : +12dB @ 450 Hz. or -12dB @ 550 Hz.

- LOW is custom tuned to ± 12dB @ 125 Hz.

- HIGH is custom tuned to ± 12dB @ 3.2 kHz.

- Settings below 12 o’clock bring you lower gain crunchy rhythms.

- Nearing 12 o’clock brings you into higher gain crunchy rhythm and lead tones.

- Above 12 o’clock gets you over-the-top rhythm and molten metal leads.

- Full up, it may cause your ceiling paint to blister and peel.

SPEAKER SIMULATION:

- Built in speaker simulation is tuned to match Celestion-style speakers.

Utilizes standard 9V alkaline battery (not included). NOTE: Input jack activates battery to conserve energy, unplug when not in use. 

Power Consumption : approx. 5mA, for battery life of approximately 100 hours.
