Friend Chip DMX 12 patchbay and signal distributor for SP/DIF and ADAT signals in good condition, despite a bit of rack rash. Tested working, includes generic power supply. Two available (at time of writing) - see my other listings!
The DMX12 offers a 12x12 matrix with 3 RCA IN/OUT and
9 TOSLINK IN/OUT. All inputs and outputs meet SP/DIF specifications up to 96kHz. Optical signals can be routed to the RCA connectors and vice versa.
Any input signal can be distributed to various outputs, while any output can only receive one signal.
All TOSLINK connectors can also transceive ADAT signals and simular signals, such as SMUX.
This offers a 9x9 matrix for ADAT signals.
The DMX12 does not offer any format conversion between SP/DIF and ADAT formats. Please refer to the MQA module in our modular system if format conversion is needed.
The DMX 12 matrix can be programmed from its front panel or may be remotely controlled by software for MAC and PC. 50 setups may be stored in the hardware memory.
