Up for sale is this vintage 1948 - 1952 Magnatone M-197-3-V Varsity Tube Amp. It has been fully checked over by a tech, and a 3 prong cord has been installed. It sounds awesome, and works great. Nice breakup, and gets surprisingly loud for its size. Very similar to a Fender Champ, but at a much lower price.
The overall condition is good for an amp of this vintage. There is a fair amount of corrosion on the chassis, and I'm not sure if the covering or handle is original.
Overall, a great vintage amp, at a great price!
