Offered from my personal collection: this is an HN White Del Staigers Model cornet mouthpiece. Stamped #38. This model was made in the 1930's. Overall excellent condition. The plating is near 100% intact with only a few scuffs and marks.
This appears to be one of the cushion rim mouthpieces with a medium cup. Possibly Model 6038.
It plays with a sweet and centered tone.
The measurements are smaller than a modern cornet mouthpiece which makes it a good match for a vintage cornet or the same era.
The length of the mouthpiece is 2.51". The diameters of the shank from the smallest to the largest are .34" and .41".
