Vintage 1970s BC Rich Eagle Bass - Glitter Rock White
Really cool, and super rare bass!!!
Serial number is hard to read, but the first 2 numbers appear to be 80, so that would place the age of this around 1978 or 1979.
This one has been played a lot. There is lots of age, and many imperfections throughout. Please take close look at all the pics, they form part of the description.
A fresh 9v battery was just installed, and the active electronics all appear to work, and they sound great. I am not an expert on these early BC Rich active circuits, but adjusting every switch or control does alter the tone, so everything appears to be working.
There is lots of finish checking and age to the finish. There are some larger cracks on the back of the neck. I am not certain if they are just in the finish, or if there has been structural repairs to the neck. I took lots of please, so please have a look.
This bass comes with a non original hard case that also shows wear. There are only 2 latches that work on the case.
Overall, a really cool vintage BC Rich. It is certainly no museum piece, but a really cool additional to any collection or live rig. All original clean examples sell for big $$$, here is you chance to own one at a more affordable price.
Sold completely as is. Any repair, restoration work or upgrades are the sole responsibility of the buyer. There will be absolutely no refunds of any kind. Absolutely no partial refunds. Serious buyers only please.
Please check my feedback and buy with confidence.
Thanks for looking.
