You can see further notes on this guitars history via the Rickenbacker Register forum here Serial No: GF 2802 (Dates 1967) According to RickResource the guitar was restored in Ohio in the 1980s: In 1980 the guitar was given to a guitar builder in Columbus, Ohio, who cleaned and re-lacquered the body, replaced the pick-ups with original factory pickups and a new “R” tailpiece ( note: it’s a 320 tailpiece since replacement 325 “accent vibrato” tails were and still are impossible to find), and Grover tuners. The Accent Vibrato Tailpiece became available during the 2010s so it now has the accurate tailpiece installed. The current owner bought the guitar from someone in Ohio so it has spent most of its life there.Comes with non original hard case.
