Guild Thunder One 1964 - Black
Good condition and nearly all original 1964 Guild Thunder One vintage tube guitar amp. Very different circuitry from Fender, Marshall, Vox, etc. Has high gain and normal inputs, tremolo on/off switch, trem speed control, bass, treble and volume controls. Volume has a pull for bright option.
New 3-prong power cord and all new electrolytic capacitors. One foot has been replaced but knobs, transformers, tolex, grill cloth, badge, handle, back boards, etc. are all original as are 4 of the 5 tubes that are labeled Guild. Rare find. Great sounding and unique amp. Newer Jensen P12R AlNiCo speaker. 12 watts output power into 8 ohm speaker.
Tubes are: 6CA4/EZ81 rectifier; two 6GW8/ECL86 power tubes with phase inverter; two 12AX7/ECC83 preamp and tremolo.
