Super rare Framus 5/155 Apollo (Jaguar style) model. Actually the only one with this finish I have ever seen.
Framus - was probably the largest guitar manufacturer of Germany in the 1960s. They produced a lot of different models.
This one features a light (probably basswood) body, which is finished in gold sparkle. The finish is not under lacquer, which means you can "feel" the sparkle on the surface. I have no clue whether this is original or not, but there are examples of Framus models with sparkle finishes. Rare ones, really rare ones!
Good frets, good neck (can be adjusted with the truss rod). The electrics have been renewed (needed a new toggle switch). That little toggle there is a kill switch - not sure if original, probably not.
Also please note that the neck has been sanded a bit on the back, probably to get rid of sticky lacquer. The tuners are also replacements (and probably a big improvement over the originals).
There is no buzz at the currently set low string action, it is a super narrow comfortable neck. Maybe not that comfortable if you have very big hands. String action is dialed down to 1,5 mm or so on the 12th fret, can be well adjusted at the bridge. The neck is straight and the frets are still pretty fine.
The guitar will ship detuned. Please allow some time for packaging and shipping as well as delivery. Especially to some remote locations in the USA it might take several weeks.
