This listing is for an early amp head made by Ben Verellen in Seattle.
I'm not sure what this amp is modeled after, if it is modeled after anything at all. The two power tubes are EL34, I was told that it was made primarily for bass, but it sounds really great with guitar as well. It's an absolute beast for guitar and bass actually!! In Ben's email to me you will see that he mentions it having a real nice ONETIC OT. This was purchased locally, and I was told that the amp had been sent back up to Seattle before I bought it and had been completely gone through by Verellen to make sure it was in tip top shape. The serial number is BV-3, it's truly Verellen's 3rd amp built as you will read in the emails included with the pics. It is a perfect amp for recording, rehearsals, or medium sized gigs. It is very versatile and can go from clean to gnarly distortion and everything in between. This is a very nice piece of equipment and will certainly not disappoint. It's really sad to let this incredible amp go.
It weighs in at 30 pounds and its dimensions are: height (24 cm, 9.5 in), width (47cm, 18.5 in), and depth (28.5 cm, 11.25 in).
I will be glad to answer any extra questions via email. Good luck!
