The Supro 1642RT Titan is a 50-watt, 1 × 10 tube combo that generates amazing stage volume and clean pitch reserve while retaining the coveted Supro Class A sound. This model is clearly aimed at the guitarist who needs a small, but high-powered, vintage-flavored tube amp that can handle the output of a massive pedalboard full of fuzz, delay, and other pedals, without the need for an effects loop.
Combining the traditional cathode-biased 6L6 power section found in the high-powered Supro amps of the ’60s with the cabinet dimensions of our award-winning Tremo-Verb model, the Titan offers unparalleled definition and projection in a remarkably compact package. Never sterile or clinically probing, the Titan has a huge, warm, full-bodied sound with enough volume to play in any size room.
The six-spring tube reverb and output tube tremolo add depth and dimension to the Titan’s glorious sound. As with all Supro reverb amps, the tremolo is located AFTER the reverb, creating a haunting, vintage modulated reverb effect that is unique to the Supro line. Love pedals? Try a PAIR of Titan amps in stereo, for a full 100-watt Class-A experience!
