From his website: "These mouthpieces are cut by hand, one at a time like in the workshops back in the 1940’s and 50’s from high quality ebonite by Sebastian Knox. These mouthpieces are very time consuming to produce and are typically made to order. Hours of hand finishing ensure optimal balance between color, response and stability resulting in a playing experience unavailable with a mass-produced product."
