Tanglewood Acoustic Guitar LW-600N Made in Korea Early 1990s

Good quality early production pre-serial number Tanglewood LW-600N manufactured in Korea sometime around 1993. A quality guitar finished in a natural gloss, with excellent Korean build quality. Mahogany neck, back and sides, a solid spruce top, rosewood fretboard, the guitar is modelled off a Martin D35.

It has beautiful herringbone twin body binding including a three piece back. The neck gets the same treatment and is also bound. This is a rare Tanglewood, its a pre-cursor to the TW-600 introduced in 1994 which used a laminate top instead of a solid top.

The guitar has just had a recent setup and service; the frets were polished, fretboard cleaned and oiled together with a fresh set of strings. Action is good and the guitar is comfortable to play.. The woods have mellowed and matured over the years, the guitar sustains well and has good tones, rich deep bass, gritty mids and harmonic highs, it really is excellent value for the price.

As its almost 30 years old it does have some wear, some nicks and scuffs here and there but nothing major, guitar is in a very clean condition. Click on the images for closer detailing.
