For sale is a rare “Block Font era” Crate G-120C guitar amp head, rated 120W at 2 ohms. Made in USA by SLM Electronics (designed other great high-gain amps like the Ampeg VH140C). Has a great mid-high gain crunch and can be used with a wide variety cab impedances due to having a 2 ohm minimum rating (can be used with 4, 8, 16 ohm cabs to achieve a lower power output.)
Features include:
- 2 Switchable Gain Channels
- Spring Reverb
- 1/4” Headphone Out
- Balanced XLR Out
- Line In & Out for FX Loop
- Stereo Speaker Outputs
Chorus feature does not work, but aside from some minimal scratchiness on a couple pots (an easy fix with a little Deoxit F5 Fader Lube) the amp is in good condition and works as should.
