Hi guys, I’m selling this rare and vintage Orla Commander XM-1, a cool and rare desktop expander made in Italy in 1980s. It comes with and extra Orla Rom Card 3 (impossible to find!) and its Start/stop – Fill in Pedal! Obviously also the power supply is included in the sale!
DESCRIPTION:
The Orla Commander XM-1 is a nice and handy expander ideal for midi connections. The unit has separate channels for chord (7 voices) + memory, bass (5 voices) + bass for chord. Solo presets (10 voices) orchestral presets (12 voices) + organ tremolo, sustain and magic Orla chords. 16 Accompaniment Chords. All sections have individual volume sliders. In addition to the 16 styles in the unit, packs with additional styles can be added via the Orla Rom Card included in the sale!
CONDITIONS:
I tested the unit by connecting it to a midi keyboard. All the LEDs light up correctly. All sections play perfectly. Pedal and Rom Card work well! Cosmetically the unit is perfect. The only section that I can't get to play (but the LEDs light up correctly) is the "Solo Presets" section. Probably some midi settings need to be changed, but I'm not an expert.
FOR THIS REASON THIS ORLA COMMANDER XM-1 IS SOLD AT A DISCOUNTED PRICE AS UNTESTED AND AT THE BUYER'S OWN RISK, WITHOUT WARRANTY AGAINST POSSIBLE FUNCTIONAL DEFECTS (I CAN’T OFFER ANY REFUND OR RETURN).
It can probably be a great deal for anyone familiar with this type of vintage midi device.
