An oldie but goodie - 8 channels of premium Apogee analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog conversion. This was a staple in pro studios in the mid to late 2000's. Still functional and terrific sounding converters. Includes 2 of the crucial optional ADAT card (which allows you to connect this to modern interfaces, anything with an ADAT/Optical input), and the optional D-to-A converter card to convert your DAW's digital signals to analog if needed. In a modern studio in 2022 this would ideally be used as an additional bank of top-quality A-D conversion for 8 channels of mic pre's, sent via ADAT/lightpipe into your DAW interface.
In good condition with just some rack rash and scuffs here and there. Regular IEC power cable not included, but any will do. All in good working order, selling "As Is".
Just sold another near identical unit (a "Special Edition" AD-8000, also with ADAT card + DAC Card).
