A very rare Concord 699av.
I have never seen another 699 with an alternate finish. It is in impeccable shape with the highly desirable Ibanez star tuners.
All flamed maple - back, sides, headstock, and even the interior.
A 699 that actually has a rosewood fingerboard that is appropriate for the finish!
Aged white abs binding all around.
Has the beautifully done wood marquetry on the back stripe.
The serial number indicates this was probably the final 699 Concord model year of 1978.
Setup with low action and new D'ddario Phosphor bronze light strings.
There is barely noticeable scuff here and there just for full disclosure. It is from 1978 of course. Action is just about 5/64s at the 12th. It has a bone nut and I'm not sure of the saddle material. No damage to speak of and the frets are in the excellent shape. Super smooth tuning and stays in tune.
I don't mind shipping internationally. Please check with me first for a proper quote.
